April 16 (Bloomberg) -- Foxconn International Holdings Ltd., the world’s biggest contract maker of mobile-phones, posted second-half profit that missed analysts’ estimates after customer Nokia Oyj said it would make more products internally.
Net income was $57.3 million in the six months ended Dec. 31, compared with a loss of $21.1 million a year earlier, according to figures Bloomberg derived from full-year earnings reported by Foxconn yesterday. The median of three analysts’ estimates compiled by Bloomberg was for profit of $85 million.
