China has the best reputation for small (<4cm?) liver tumor surgery.
Given that Fu had a liver transplant, Fu is definitely at later stage, average three months survival after diagnosis.
His first liver transplant seemed to be a success. Six month is pretty long in liver transplant.
Remember, liver transplant is still in experimental stage despite there are quite a few transplant surgeries completed.
